Welcome!

Welcome to Tori Lamp's Official Website. Tori is an eighteen year-old diver from Tennessee. She began diving at age twelve and has progressed rapidly to the international elite level.

In 2006, at the age of 14, Tori proved she could compete at the Junior National level, when she placed 8th on the platform. One year later, Tori again proved her talent by qualifying to both Junior Spring and Summer Nationals and by placing 7th on platform.

In 2008 Tori started out by winning the state title in February. She then placed second at spring regionals, fourth at spring nationals, made semis at senior nationals, won summer regionals, and won 1m and platform at zones, qualifying her for Nationals. At Jr. Nationals Tori finaled on all three boards, but her most memorable moment was winning the platform event and qualifying for the Junior Worlds Championships in Germany.  This earned her a spot on the Jr. National team and she ended up placing 5th at Jr. Worlds!

2009 started out rough with a knee injury, but after an MRI she was told that it wouldn't get much worse so she pushed on. In February Tori competed at her final High School State meet. She placed first and broke an eleven year record by more than 50 points. Later on Tori was notified that she was the National Champion All American which is quite an honor.

Next Tori attended the World Selection Camp and was selected to the USA Senior National team. Through camp she was selected to compete in the Canada Cup and the USA Grand Prix in May. In April Tori competed at the Senior National Campionships and placed second in the 10m individual and third in the 10m syncro with partner Amy Korthaur. Because of her placement she was invited to the World University Games, but due to her knee injury she opted out. At the Canada Cup Tori didn't have her best competition but qualified for semis. From Canada she was flown down to Florida for the USA Grand Prix, but due to illness was unable to compete.

Tori had knee surgery on May 19th. She is still on the road to recovery and her next competition will be competing for the University of Tennessee.
